Purposeful production practices using the Albert toolkit

We've partnered with sustainability leaders BAFTA Albert to act as local assessors of their industry-leading Toolkit here in Australia. The Toolkit is a web-based carbon emissions tracking platform that provides comprehensive forecasting, measurement and reporting, actionable decarbonisation insights and certification for sustainable productions.

‍The Next Generation Toolkit has arrived.

Albert has just released the Next Generation Toolkit (NGT), including an updated Carbon Calculator,  and Certification Programme along with in-built Sustainable Production Guidance. You can now access it here using the same log in details you use for the Current Toolkit. ‍

For new users of the Albert Toolkit:

‍We recommend you start by exploring the NGT landing page and watch through this YouTube Playlist that hosts a series of training videos, including how to set up an account.

For users transitioning from the Current Toolkit:

If you have a production in process using the Current Toolkit, you will need to complete this by 1 December 2026, ahead of the Current Toolkit shutting down on 17 December. You will receive further guidance around data retrieval from the Current Toolkit before it closes.

Before you log into the Next Generation Toolkit:

1. We suggest that you explore the NGT landing page and Albert’s YouTube playlist - starting with Next Generation Toolkit: What’s Changed? These will help you to understand how the Next Generation Toolkit is different and has evolved from the Current Toolkit, before you log in for the first time.
